START is a small studio for established founders who built something real and are tired of explaining it in every first meeting. The work is to settle the question “who is this person and why does it matter?” before any conversation begins, then build the web, content, and acquisition systems that hold the answer in market.

What we do

One thing, done in depth. We build brand positions for established founders, and the systems that put them to work.

That means we examine what you've actually built, what you sell, who buys it, and how the market currently understands all of that. Then we rewrite the answers: what category you own, why a prospect should care about you specifically, and what a buyer concludes in the first thirty seconds of finding you.

When the position is right, sales cycles shorten because the prospect already trusts before the meeting. Premium fees become defensible because the position justifies them. Inbound starts arriving from people who weren't referred. The pipeline behaves differently because the market started thinking about you differently.

Research

Two weeks of interviews with you, your team, your clients, and a competitive sweep. We're after the gap between what you think you sell and what people actually buy. They are usually different.

Position

We architect the answer to who is this and why does it matter. This is the load-bearing work. It defines the category you own and the leverage you have. Everything downstream follows from this.

Enact

We build the structure the position lives on: site, SEO foundation, paid ads (Meta, Google), newsletters, video, AI workflows, profile, content cadence, sales narrative.

You leave with a defensible position, the assets to enact it, and a clear plan for the next six months of sustained execution.

Behind START

A small team of positioning specialists.

START is run by a small team with backgrounds in strategy consulting, B2B and B2C marketing, editorial, brand, web development, performance marketing, SEO, and AI engineering. Between us we've worked with 120+ founders before building this company. That work is what told us this needed to exist as its own practice rather than as a side service inside an agency.

We're intentionally small. Every engagement is led by a partner, never handed off to an account manager. We take on a limited number of new clients each quarter because the work requires depth and depth requires attention. If we're full, we'll say so and put you on the next quarter's list.

The name “START” is literal. Our job is to define the starting point a founder shows up from, every time. After that, the rest of the work the market does for them is downstream from there.
